境外學習活動能讓學生學習新事物，擴闊視野，有助學生成為世界公民，故學校舉辦境外學習活動，主題為「新加坡英語學習及科學探索體驗之旅」。
新加坡是一個以英語作為主要語言的國家，行程中三十二位五、六年級的學生參與與英語及科學探索體驗的活動，從而提高學生對學習英語的興趣及涵養，並以培養他們的邏輯思維和解決問題的能力。
Organizing overseas learning activities is an excellent way to expose students to new experiences, broaden their horizons, and help them become global citizens. Therefore, our school organized an exciting journey titled "Singapore Study Tour".
Singapore, being a country where English is the primary language, offers an ideal setting for students to immerse themselves in English-related activities. Thirty-two P.5-6 students participated in various activities designed to enhance their interest in learning English and cultivate their language skills. By actively engaging with English speakers and experiencing the language in authentic contexts, students improve their language proficiency and develop a deeper appreciation for English as a global communication tool.
Additionally, they took part in science exploration activities during their time in Singapore. These activities are designed to foster their logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Through hands-on experiments, interactive demonstrations, and visits to science-related institutions, students develop critical thinking skills and learn how to apply scientific concepts in real-world scenarios. This exposure to scientific exploration does not only deepen their understanding of the subject but also equips them with valuable skills that can be applied across various academic disciplines and future endeavors.
By embarking on this " Singapore Study Tour," our students do not only gain language proficiency and scientific knowledge but also develop a broader perspective of the world and become more culturally aware. This transformative experience will undoubtedly contribute to their personal growth and prepare them to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global society.
